Didn't expect a towel rail to feel this substantial, but the solid brass has real heft to it. I hung it by the stove for pans and it hasn't budged, and the antique finish hides splatters way better than shiny hardware would.
The weight of this solid brass rail surprised me in the best way—it feels substantial and secure the moment you mount it. I’ve got three heavy pans hanging from it with S-hooks, and it hasn’t budged an inch. Exactly the sturdy, simple look I wanted for open shelving.
I’ve been hanging tea towels and a few cast-iron pans on it for a week now, and the solid brass really does feel substantial against the wall. The straight line keeps everything looking tidy, and it didn’t even need much muscle to mount.
