I was a bit worried the yellow stripe might be too loud, but it's actually a lovely warm ochre that anchors the room. The hand-upholstered feel is immediately obvious—the fabric is incredibly soft and the curved back wraps around you perfectly.

The piping detail really makes this chair look tailored and expensive, not just a lump of fabric. It's firm enough to sit upright with a book but still feels cozy, and the yellow stripe brightens up my whole corner. Been looking for that classic English chair shape forever, and this one delivered.
