Latham Kommode

The dovetail joints are flawless—you can tell this piece was built to survive generations, not just a few moves. The solid oak frame feels reassuringly heavy when you pull the drawers, and the antiqued finish adds warmth without being fussy. My bedroom finally feels like it has a proper anchor piece

The carved cylindrical feet give it such a lovely presence in our bedroom, and the solid oak frame feels rock-solid when I pull the drawers open. Assembly took maybe half an hour, but the dovetail joints make it clear this is built to last for years.

The dovetail joints are what sold me—you can tell this thing’s built to last, and the oak’s got that rich, warm grain that makes my bedroom feel cozier. It took a bit of muscle to haul up the stairs, but once assembled it’s rock solid and the drawers glide smooth.
