The hand-thrown shape means no two are alike, which makes it feel special every time I light a candle in it. It sits sturdy on the shelf and the soft glow through the stoneware is exactly the elegant mood I was after.
The glaze has this lovely depth that shifts in the candlelight, and you can really see the hand-thrown ridges where the potter shaped it. It sits perfectly on my dining table, giving off that soft, warm glow the description promised.
Mine arrived with a slightly uneven rim from the throwing process, which honestly makes it feel more special than something machine-made. The soft flicker from a taper candle looks beautiful on the dinner table, and the stoneware really does keep that warm, grounded glow all evening.
