The shibori folding gives it such an organic, almost sculptural texture that catches the light differently from every angle. I was worried the raw Tussar silk would feel scratchy, but it's surprisingly soft to the touch.

Evening light through the pale pink silk lining turns the whole room a soft rose, and the gathering makes each fold catch shadows differently. The raw Tussar silk texture feels almost nubby to the touch, which adds a handcrafted depth you don't get from machine-made shades.

The pale pink lining catches the light so softly when the lamp’s on, and the gathered raw Tussar silk feels way more substantial than I expected for the price. It’s a small thing, but the shibori folds give it this uneven, organic texture that makes it look handmade in the best way.
