The aged oak oil finish gives it a warm, tactile feel that makes the whole bench look like it’s been in the family for years. The hand-carved spindleback is sturdy yet elegant, and it seats two comfortably without feeling cramped.

The hand-carved oak is noticeably solid—you can feel the weight when you lift it—and the aged oil finish has a warm, matte look that fits our farmhouse table well. Only gripe is the seat’s a bit firm for long dinners, but a cushion solves that.
