The stripe is a much deeper, richer sage than the photos suggested, and the upholstery feels sturdy enough for daily use. I've been using it as a footrest by the sofa and a spare seat when friends come over, and it handles both without losing its shape.
The hardwood frame feels reassuringly solid when I put my feet up, and the beech finish peeks out nicely at the base for a warm touch. Those Chesterfield-style tufts are subtle but give it just enough character for my living room.
