The diamond pattern is so neatly painted that it feels almost too pretty to use, but it holds up great as a fruit bowl on my counter. Each piece being hand-thrown makes it feel special, and the stoneware has a nice weight to it.
The speckled glaze catches the light so nicely on the kitchen counter, and the hand-thrown unevenness gives it real character. It rinses berries perfectly and doubles as a fruit bowl when I'm not using it.
I was worried stoneware would feel clunky, but it’s surprisingly light in the hand and the hand-thrown texture gives it a lovely organic feel. The unique diamond pattern really pops on my counter, and rinsing berries has become a tiny ritual.
