The padding is thick enough that sitting on it for a whole afternoon doesn't leave my hips sore. I flip it to the gingham side when I want a cleaner look, and the cotton weave feels soft yet sturdy against my skin.
The black gingham pattern is even crisper in person, and the weave feels dense enough that it holds its shape on the patio bench. I flipped it over to the plain side when the sun hit and both textures are comfortable.
