The cutaway headboard immediately makes the bedroom feel more polished, and the beech-sprung slatted base is noticeably sturdier than my old bed frame. The ecru linen upholstery has just the right texture—not too rough, not too slick—and the whole thing arrived feeling solid, not flimsy.
The handturned legs with that warm wood stain are what sold me, and they look even richer in person against the ecru linen. The beech-sprung slatted base feels solid when I sit down, no creaking or wobble at all. It's a beautiful, well-made bed that makes the whole room feel more put-together.
