Swapped out the flimsy plastic catches on my kitchen cabinets for these and the click is so satisfyingly solid. The solid brass gives them a nice heft, and they've already started developing a subtle patina that matches my older hardware.
The weight of this latch is what sold me—solid brass feels substantial every time I click the cupboard shut. Even after a few weeks of daily use, the matte nickel finish still looks clean and the patina is starting to develop just as described.
Installing this took me two minutes and now every cupboard in the kitchen closes with that satisfying, solid click. The weight of the solid brass is immediately noticeable when you handle it, feels properly premium. Hoping the patina develops nicely, but even if it doesn't, this looks great as is.
