The hand turned legs with that dark stain give it such a polished, grounded look, and the whole frame feels like a proper piece of furniture. The sapele wood frame feels rock-solid when I sit on the edge, and the beech-sprung slatted base gives just the right amount of give. The plaster pink linen is softer than I expected, like a cozy sweater for the bedroom. I've had it a week and already dread getting out of bed in the morning.
