The velvet is so plush and the navy shade looks even richer in person—it’s become my favorite reading spot immediately. The hardwood frame feels solid when I lean back, and the low seat makes it perfect for curling up with a book.

The velvet is such a deep, rich navy that it almost looks black in low light, and the frame feels solid when I sink into that low seat. I was a little worried about the hardwood construction being too heavy, but it's actually just sturdy enough for my reading nook.

I’ve had it for two weeks and the low seat is perfect for lounging—deep enough to curl up in but not so low that getting up is a workout. The hardwood frame feels rock solid when I lean back hard, and the midnight velvet has this subtle sheen that makes the whole room look classier.
