I hung this above the stove for my pans and it hasn't budged an inch — the solid brass is heavier than I expected, which makes it feel genuinely sturdy. The blackened finish has a nice matte look that doesn't show fingerprints.
Installed it above the stove yesterday and the solid brass finish already makes the whole kitchen feel more put-together. My cast iron pans hang on it with the S-hooks and the rail doesn't budge an inch. Exactly the simple, weighty look I was after.
The weight of this rail surprised me in the best way—it feels genuinely solid when I hang my cast-iron pans on it. The blackened brass finish is even richer in person, and it’s held up beautifully against steam and splashes near my stove.
