Polperro Parasol, Blue Stripe

The tricolour stripe in blues, browns and parchment looks even better in real sunlight than on screen, and the cover feels properly substantial when you put it up. Nice weight to it too, so it doesn’t get knocked around in a breeze.

The scalloped edges give it a softer, more elegant look than my old square parasol, and the weighty base makes it feel solid even when the wind picks up. I’ve had it up for two weeks now and the blue, brown, and parchment stripes still look crisp in the afternoon sun.

The tricolour stripe looks even better in person than in the photos, and the scalloped edge is such a pretty touch. The lined cover feels really well-made too, and it’s kept the fabric from fading after a full summer of sun.
