I wasn’t sure how the two fabrics would work together, but the ticking stripe back pairs beautifully with the sage velvet seat. The chair feels both sturdy and inviting, and the arm height is just right for resting a book or a cup of tea.
The velvet is even plusher in person than in the photos, and the two fabrics complement each other beautifully. I've had mine for a week now and it's already my go-to spot for morning coffee. The stripes on the back add just the right amount of visual interest without being overwhelming.
I was a little worried the ticking stripe on the back would be too busy, but paired with the soft sage velvet it creates a really elegant, cozy look. The chair is surprisingly comfortable for reading—the wingback feels supportive without being too stiff.
