The carved cylindrical feet really anchor the piece’s English country look, and the solid oak frame feels substantial without wobbling. Even the bronzed hardware has a nice aged patina that matches the bedside lamp I’ve got.
The dovetail joints are a nice touch you don't see much anymore, and the oak really holds its own against my dog's daily bumps. It went together without any wobble, and the antiqued bronze pulls feel heavier than I expected for the price.
The carved cylindrical feet are what sold me—they give it that proper English country look without feeling fussy. Assembly took maybe twenty minutes and the dovetail joints are clearly built to last.
