I was a little worried the exposed screws would look cheap, but in this antique brass finish they actually give it a proper vintage character. The solid brass feels weighty and well-made, and the gently curved corners catch the light nicely.

The exposed screws on the wall plates give it a proper old-school hardware look, and the solid brass has a satisfying heft when you hang a towel on it. Took me five minutes to mount, and the curved ends catch the towel without it sliding off. Exactly what our loo needed.

The curved corners are a nice touch, they don’t catch on towels the way straight edges do. Solid brass gives it a proper weight, and the exposed screws actually look intentional with the antique finish.
