Swapped out the boring beige shade on my bedside lamp for this red stripe one and the whole corner feels cheerier now. The gathered cotton has a nice weight to it, and the blue trim along the bottom edge is a subtle touch I didn't expect to like this much.
The gathered cotton shade gives off such a warm, diffused glow that our reading corner finally feels cozy at night. The red stripe with that blue trim is even prettier in person, and the fabric feels substantial, not flimsy. It's exactly the classic look I was hoping for.
The red stripe is so much cheerier in person than on screen, and that gathered cotton gives it a lovely soft, handmade feel. The blue trim along the bottom is a subtle detail that really ties it together. It sits perfectly on my bedside table lamp and instantly warms up the whole corner of the room.
